# Top-down trends

Use the top-down trends page to group feedback into clusters. You can alter the number of clusters using the slider at the top (the default is 10). You can apply filters or search and the feedback will re-cluster in real-time. If you see something interesting, you can click next to a cluster to drill in and identify any sub-clusters within.

Trends show real-time patterns across all your feedback sources, giving you a glanceable view of what your customers are saying right now.

1. Open the Trends tab
2. Choose the time period you want to explore
3. Review the trends and drill down for further analysis
4. Save a Trend by creating a new Cluster or adding to an existing Cluster.
