Jira integration

Learn how to use the Sauce integration with Jira. You can use the Jira integration to bi-directionally sync customer insights with Jira tickets.

1. Go to Settings

2. Go to Teams

3. Connect your Jira workspace via OAuth 2.0

Connect your team's Jira board

Setup from Sauce

1. Go to your team settings

2. Select your team's Jira board, then click Save

3. You should now be able to link Jira issues to customer insights that will bi-directionally sync

Data management & Security

Sauce operates under the principle of least privilege for data collection.

Purpose of disclosure	To bi-directionally sync features uncovered from Sauce’s customer insights with your roadmap.
Access management	Sauce only has access to Jira boards selected by the user. You can disable these at any time from Jira or Sauce. If you wish to delete data that has been uploaded to Sauce, you can email [e-mail].

Data Scopes

Scope	Description
read:jira-work	Read Jira project and issue data, search for issues, and access objects associated with issues like attachments and worklogs.
write:jira-work	Create and edit issues in Jira, post comments as the user, create worklogs, and delete issues.
manage:jira-webhook	Fetch, register, refresh, and delete dynamically declared Jira webhooks.
